		<description>yup, we used the raws that have been out there for awhile, but our encoder tired to make them less horrific on the eyes by trying to get rid of some of the blur and ghosting.</description>

I wonder if these were done by using the .AVI raws that have been easily available on the net.

ep01
.avi raw (XviD): 252.661.912 bytes
this (h.264 inside .mkv): 255.876.079 bytes

ep02
.avi raw (XviD): 348.624.104 bytes
this (h.264 inside. mkv): 351.557.876 bytes

Anyway, this one looks sharper. Sharpening filter probably, as there&#039;s similar defects to the video in .avi raws and the sample screenshot above. Even if it was just filtering and not a better source, it still looks better than the .avi raws... plus the obvious difference that this is translated, the biggest plus for 99% of otaku who don&#039;t have fluency in Japanese.
