Well, I gave a few instructions to our encoder before we first start on Guilty Crown. I don’t know his encode presets however, but I did tell him not to mind about file size and just concentrate on quality. That could explain hopefully. IF any more questions, I’ll have our encoder answer to you.

Yes – thanks a lot for the sign of life… (after not getting reply to my comment to Guilty Crown I feared for the worst… there was a response to another commenter later, but having a new entry is really better)

I’ll just take the opportunity to post again:
“But if you want complaints I have one. crf of 17 with 10bit? That really is excessive – 18 with 8bit is already considered transparent, and with 10bit you can go up with the crf to retain the same quality, instead of reducing it even further. So I surely wouldn’t mind you using crf 19 or 20 for the next episode (I prefer smaller filesizes)”

Hmm – I don’t get it.. a transport stream is a transport stream – how would your own raw-provider help? Or is it because you cannot be sure to get a hold of a shared raw for every episode?

also re the typesetting mistake at 5:30 – I fail to see any mistake with “You could say that I’m not on the same wavelength as everyone else.” – it is in italics, using the same font, so looks fine to me.

re “hat trend” towards you? Cannot see any hating towards you in the comments at least, not sure what you get spammed with using other means.
