Fairy Tail 93

Picture 1 of 5

School and work are really eating up a lot of our time right now.
This ep is 501mb… Once we get to ep. 99 we’re going to start using 10bit encodes since these ridiculous file sizes need to stop.

Torrent: 720p

Translation Notes

I’d just like to point out that Edolas is the name of the kingdom, not the name of the planet itself.

  1. I don’t mind w10-bit encodes (actually got several series in 10-bit). but I kind of would prefer a series to not switch. That and my PC already has issues playing your soft-subbed karaoke as is. So chances are a switch to 10-bit would require me to find a different group to continue Fairy Tail with.

  2. hey sry for being a noob but how will 10bit lower the file size? and will quality still be the same? and thanks for the release by the way :)

  3. Koby… I don’t know what media player or codecs you have installed, but if you want everything to play correctly (ordered chapters (not that we use them), 10-bit encoding, the karaoke, etc), uninstall all your codec packs, install the latest CCCP, and use that plus the bundled MPC-HC. That’s all there is to it.

If you’re on a Mac, use MPlayerX.

  4. @Koby, please try reading. I mentioned more issues than just 10-bit encoding.

You know, like the karaoke issues you’re having.

  5. Oh, but it very well could be; you could have an outdated version of libass.

“My computer has a problem with soft-subbed karaoke” is a ridiculous statement.

In any event, I’m tired of this argument. Go bother somebody else.

Edit: @Maledepecher – VLC is an awful media player. Its internal codecs are horrible.

  6. @BackStab28, please learn to read and stop putting words in my mouth.
“My computer has a problem with soft-subbed karaoke” is a ridiculous statement.
    — You’re the one that said that. I never did. See you try to be a smart-ass and post crap you don’t know about so I’ve been being a smart-ass right back at you this entire time because you’ve failed to understand a single comment thus far. Please stop failing and quit wasting my time.

  7. Re-reading my last comment I think that came out a bit wrong and overly harsh and I want to apologize for it. I never said my computer has a problem with soft-subbed karaoke. What I said was “issues playing ‘your’ soft-subbed karaoke”. What I meant by that is it plays it fine, but my PC is too slow to keep up with the kfx used. I don’t have a problem with that though. The only reason I stated that at all was to mention the fact that 10-bit requires even more CPU power, thus if I was already having problems with not enough power… that’d only add to the problem and require me to seek other methods (groups) or bother trying to re-encode). That’s all I meant. I use MPC-HC with CCCP via the latest stable public release and I always update immediately after a new one is released. My PC is only a 1.6 GHz with 2 GB ram running on Windows XP SP3. Sorry this got thrown way out of portion and my original comment became so misunderstood.

  8. Nah, it’s all good.

I’m used to attitude – I mean, I deal with Ref on a daily basis. :P

In any event, I was just trying to help out, though all of that, as you have aptly pointed out, seems to have gotten derailed.

I’ll ask Seeker if he’s willing to keep an 8-bit copy around (in addition to the 10-bit copy) for people with similar problems, though.
