Translation Notes:
More like editor’s rant: So I try to give each character an individual speaking pattern, I may screw up from time to time, but I have to preserve the original meaning of the words. If it was just a straight up literal translation I doubt anyone would want to try and read it, it’d be more like troll subs. I try to make Natsu and Gray have similar right speaking patterns, have Erza be a bit more formal then others and have Happy’s lines be childish unless he’s setting up a joke.
Maybe my taste in how I word things in English is a bit different than others, if I say “Your happiness is reward enough” instead of “rewarding” I expect it to carry a different meaning; 7 million is a reward, a golden key is a reward, happiness is now a reward as well and not rewarding.
Next ep is a filler, expect delays even though I’ve already timed up to ep 22 since finals in different countries happen at different times.
