Hmmm… I guess this could be called installment 2 of “r6″ if any one really follows this stuff.
So we’ve finally released episode 8 of Fairy Tail after our encoders internet died on him and our translator avoided the site like the plague so he could focus on finals. Now that we’re finally done with finals you’d think we could pick up the pace right? Keep dreaming. Tis the holiday season, the most stressful time of the year (with planning vacations a close second) and most of us enjoy NOT being basement dwelling good for nothings.
Enough of this boring HOGWASH, time to move onto something more entertaining.
Finishing episode 8 kept most of us up till 3am last night
a new manga series “Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya” was announced to be serialized in Shonen Ace magazine. The story shares the same timespace with the Code Geass TV series and takes place in Edo era in Japan.
So I was timing FT 08 to the encode that I know were not gonna use for our release and the idea of having to fine time it twice was sickening, so to amuse myself I thought “what might the line look like if we were a troll sub group?”

I’m bored and tired of doing this incredibly tedious math project that is due tomorrow that I can’t even do one problem of after weeks of wasting time and paper attempting them. So then I decided “hey, let’s see if anything is happening on hiyono.net” only to see the same damn post on top of the page that was there last time which I have gotten sick of seeing every time I click the book marked page, so I figure why not.

So I’ve been watching anime for a number of years now, of course trying to motivate you slackers to watch anything made before 1990 without tell you what to watch is a chore and a half, but that is beside the point since the whole mot-off with old school fan-service was a bigger bust than that whole “battle of the sadists” we tried to organize back when the mots were still gushing (Sataka-kun, go stand in the hall way for holding your balls too much!) and now that I’ve been part of this group trying to sub Fairy Tail for about two months now motivational poster making has decreased to maybe 2% of what it once was.
While on that topic of subbing FT, how exactly does may select the images to be displayed on our release announcements? I wouldn’t have chosen those, these are my choice pics from Fairy Tail 07:

I was expecting this one to be fillerless, but this is so Raw…
If Fairy Tail ever ends shorter than expected, I think we should get a second project planned. Or, a side-project only starting next year. Of course, MOT will get their releases, despite how slow we are at this time of the year. I intend to start rushing my part of the job, but get the TL, and not just neco should get to work on it. I still ain’t too fond for subbing hentai show personally.
My suggestion for next project of Hiyono Fansubs:
- Great Teacher Onizuka
- Spiral
- Lupin the 3rd
- More to come…
@Ref: I already checked for Daa Daa Daa if that’s what you want to ask… There’s none, no matter how much time I spent looking for it…
I wonder if bzzt_lol can even handle DVD NTSC… Such as converting it, encoding it, filtering it, etc…
Also, next year might be the year that I will buy a new desktop computer. Self-build one with a few help of my friends and possibly a rather powerful one. I might also turn the desktop into a server computer too. That way, I can keep on downloading torrent at home, while bringing my laptops at school. But even better than that is the remote desktop connection inside Windows 7. (Vista also got it) I can go download everything from school, by connecting onto my server computer like a receptor. Since I already considered learning Encoding for one, and to download loads of DVD sources, and maybe getting a SATA drives (for backup and memory), the best thing to do is to improve our fansubbing techniques and keep persistence. Anyways, that are my plans for next year.
