I had a dream last night that I was slowly sawing the big toes off some bit or robot, or robo bitch with a rusty saw for ripping out my fingernails, and while I was slowly sawing the toes off it, I remember eating tuna fish ice cream. … but here goes.

First off I don’t have any pics of today’s events cause I didn’t bring a camera.

So far my vacation has been going… well going. A trip to NY at the beginning of July, forcing the fansub group to mostly catch up on the more recent eps of Fairy Tail, but today, TODAY, was by far the most memorable day I’ve had all summer.

I’ve been preparing for a boat trip all week, and everything that can go wrong has gone wrong just short of disaster: one of the tires to the boat’s trailer was flat, the power trim wasn’t working right, the engine wouldn’t start, and it’s 110 degrees F outside with the heat index all week. After endless toil to get this floating disaster up to operating protocol, we finally get it to where it’s make or break time.

I gave the statistics for the day as something like this: 50% change the wench fails and we get stuck in the water like last year, 20% chance we get rained out or the winds will be too high, 15% chance one of the boat’s operating systems fail, 10% chance something unforeseen goes wrong, 5% chance the day goes on without incident and a good time will be had by all. Past experience over 17 years worth of memories with this boat tell me that something will ALWAYS go wrong.

I get up at 6:30am to get everything ready, gather the people that are coming along, get everything packed and last minute check ups and we’re off. We get to the river and get the boat in the water even though the toe rope to keep it from drifting off is now too short after years of knots being tied in it, we get on the boat and it starts without giving us any trouble and we’re off. We’re going down the river heading to Lake George, the second largest lake in Florida, so we can cross it to get to Silver Glen, one of the few places in this state I have any fondness left for. By some stroke of luck we make it across the lake with no problems and into the glen where the water is spring fed into it via a boil, keeping the water at 70ish degrees F year round (this is like an oasis in hell for me thanks to the heat). We get there, we swim, we play, we dive, we see the mud springs, we chat up strangers and cook burgers on a small grill before swimming and diving some more with no cramps. It’s finally time to leave, we get out on the lake, see a 12 foot gator right along side of the boat, I fucking wish I took a picture of this gator, had it’s mouth open and everything, it looked like it was at first trying to attack the boat but then realized “oh shit! that’s way too fucking bit to eat! escape! escape!” and some more gators attacking something off in the distance, we get back on the river, get the boat out of the water using the wench without major trouble… now, at this point the 5% chance is still looking pretty good, nothing went wrong while on the boat, but on the way back… the car breaks down (my dad’s car which has been a piece of shit since the day he bought it, but it’s the only car we have that can tow the boat) and we’re stuck on the side of the road in 115 degree heat waiting for a rescue… we all got sun burned on the side of the road since we didn’t think to re apply the sun block at the time. We finally get rescued, finally get the boat and the piece of shit busted car home and as soon as we get the boat put always we realize we forgot to put the tarp on it and then it started raining.

Now, I’ve had worse days, I’ve fallen off mountains and lost a good chunk of skin, crawled through canopies and had to walk tight ropes over long falls, but I really wish that it would have been that 5% chance of a good day had by all rather than that 10% chance of some shit happening that didn’t fit into the other percentages.

Now may wants to sub One Piece movie 10 and she’s just not taking the hint that I’m not interested in working on it. I want to be able to ENJOY THAT PARTICULAR MOVIE when I watch it; fansubbing generally takes all fun out of watching whatever show you’re subbing cause you don’t get to just watch it. And even when you’re done subbing it you can never really watch it, your eyes will be fixed on the subs looking for fuck ups and shit you messed up on rather than the actual thing you’re watching.

And I’m pretty much fucked right now anyway since I haven’t registered for fall classes yet since I DON’T FUCKING HAVE A MAJOR ANYMORE and some stupid shit, so now I’m being pressured by every single member of my family to get my life in order meaning I have to go thorough all this bull shit to pick a new major just so I can pick classes that I can take to get to a point where I can transfer to some fancy ass college that I don’t even want to where I’d just waste more of my life in the educational system that I HATE, FUCKING HATE, DESPISE, LOATH, RESENT, beyond reason and rational thought. I’m not motivated by those little scraps of paper everyone wastes their lives trying to horde away, nor am I motivated by power or recognition, the only thing that motivates me is whatever will bring me the most happiness. Shame most people think I’m crazy in my real life, I view society as crazy and the feeling is mutual.

I wish I had pics for this post, oh well, just google Silver Glen Florida and there should be plenty.

Since we’ve been making them for a few years and all, I figured I’d post some of the more memorable ones I’ve made or hom-chan’s made or whatever I have on this comp (some 4,404 individual posters, 95% of which made by whomever uses this comp), that and I have no real topic for this post.
Figure I’ll start off with something new that I haven’t posted in the forum yet due to lack of opportunity… oh wait, I just posted it in the forum, oh well.

More because I don’t feel like having to load more images when I go to this page where the previews are at.
I rather happen to like this one because it was true at the time I made it, now there are billions more.

A lot of memorable posters are ones that relate to stuff that happens in the real world, like that science poster and relationship poster I put in a post a few months back.

Most posters that have to deal with the truth are funny cause the truth is a horrible thing more often than not.

Most of the time you can bold face lie to some one and they won’t care just as long as they don’t know they are being lied to, that’s how politicians accomplish things.

Motivating someone is hard, making them laugh at a sad truth is easy if you have the right image.

Even if the joke is old, people will eventually come to admire you for carrying it on long after it has stopped being funny, that or they will completely ignore you giving you an opportunity to play means spirited pranks on them.

Then there’s stuff you just remember cause it’s good…

… that or some person keeps asking for TEH SAUCE, in which case you lie to them if they don’t realize it doesn’t matter and they’d be happier not knowing since it’s from something pornographic (we all know anyone asking for sauce is a minor and you need to let them find porn on their own least you risk getting involved in some stupid politically correct which is amoral bullshit).

Then their are eye-killer images the most be reposed over and over again.

But in reality they’re more often than not much more tame than what we would have posted if we really wanted to make your eyes bleed.

Now I’m just bored.

And picking shit at random that seems funny.

Not really, but I am bored with this, and even posting once a month is boring since no one ever posts or has anything of any value to say.

If I go into a “good old days” rant then the motivation will truly be dead, so I’ll just deny that and continue to force this enthusiasm in a stupid way like everyone else while still knowing I am superior to someone who only quotes people who do post just to say some abbreviated thing in replacement of real input.

I happen to be a big fan of bluntness and the ways of the blunt. I’ll take an obsessive clinger over that tsundere crap any day, at least I’ll have the satisfaction of knowing what I’m dealing with.

We’re actually really disappointed in the KissxSis full anime cause it focuses too much on our two most hated characters, that sex crazed loli and her yoai fangirl titty monster sister… don’t like that glasses girl too much either.
This is a good occasion to post this even though it’s not memorable in the least bit.

So Portal 2 has been announced for a few weeks now with a reconnected patch to alter the ending of the first game back to it’s original intended ending that was changed to what most people know as the ending at the last minute. I want you people to read that line in a monotone, auto-tuned voice inside your minds. Basically, once your character is out cold at the end of the first game, that party retrieval robot thing finally comes to collect you saying “Thank you for assuming the Party Escort Position” and drags you back in where you get frozen for another 200 years. Also, the caption thing for images to have words below them still sucks on this site; it didn’t used to suck like this. I don’t really know what to rant about this time, so I’ll just wing it.

If anyone else has seen that show Adventure Time With Finn And Jake you’d know it’s as much fun to watch as a train wreak while tripping on acid, not in a bad way like Spongebob Squarepants, in a good way like Rocko’s Modern Life; it’s just loaded with out of context material.

I also heard that show Avatar: the Last Airbender is getting a spin-off or squeal or prequel or something called Avatar: the legend of Korra, but since it’s based off a tweat from someone I don’t entirely trust it since I consider things like tweats, facebook and myspace to all fall under nigga technology. And you don’t start trippin’ and shit, call me a racist. ‘Cause I don’t mean Nigga in a disrespectful way, I-I mean it as a general term for an ignorant motherfucker. Anybody of any race can be an ignorant motherfucker. Besides, facebook is proven to lower your intelligence; Case 1: two girls in Australia got stuck in a sewage drainage pipe of some kind, they had their cellphones and their cellphones had signals, and what do they do? They don’t call for help, no, they fucking post on facebook asking for help. They’re lucky someone actually called for help to save them and this didn’t happen.

Case 2: a bugler breaks into a house, brings up his facebook page on the computer that belongs to the person he is robbing to update whatever the fuck he was updating while robbing this place and leaves his account logged on and page up when he leaves. Needless to say that dumb son of a bitch was arrested later; even though both examples are old, they are still relevant since some stupid person is going to do it again eventually.

That’s right, next I’m going to rant about boobs, those heavenly meat pillows that grow out of most women’s chests, and I say heavenly because they make milk. This rant is because it has come to my attention that a bra has been developed to make a woman’s bust smaller. I know, I know, all you DFC people will berate me for this, but consider this: you meet one of those small breasted beauties you cherish so much only to find out too late that she hosts I massive cleavage constrains in her clothes that makes you go limp and makes everyone else want to beat you up for taking a perfectly good, acceptable woman away from their targeting range that you didn’t even want.

And you women reading this (if any ever) should also consider that all you’re doing is compressing them, cutting off your circulation. I understand why you don’t want to show them off, you don’t want men to think you’re “slutty” or to attract perverts (who unlike me can only express their perversion openly out in the open for all to see in the semi-anonymity the internet sometimes provides) or maybe you do show it off and see a lot of action, then we get that whole stupid analogy of a master key and a shitty lock which is over all worthless thanks to evolution. If everyone had a master key then there’d be nothing stopping anyone, so super locks are made that break the key off inside it if it’s the wrong key, I’d say a lock and a key like that are more valuable and interesting than that old worn out analogy. Society is messed up no matter where you go these days, it got messed up because people hold back too much too often, there are no chances to really let loose and go wild without violating people and forced to face bitter consequences later on (like criminal charges or disease); I’d like to see a third summer of love during my life time if only for the fun of it (first summer of love was during the hippie movements, second was by the Brits in the UK some 10 years after the first) only with less drugs and more adrenalin highs fueled by raging hormones. This world has become too anal.

Though I doubt I’ll get to see too many cool things not brought about by war for at least 30 years… Anyway, so by this time next month Fullmetal Alchemist‘s source manga will have ended with a glorious burst of 150 pages I hear. The anime should end about 2 weeks after the last chapter is published… cutting it close indeed. Oh yeah… I’ve been reading Please kill me baby another moeblob series that gets popular just because it’s moeblob, but this time there’s a twist at least.

I don’t feel like going into much detail on it though since I’d rather be reading Onidere or Yandere Kanojo which have essentially the same plot and character types, just different presentation. I also heard from an unreliable source that Hayate no Gotoku will be getting a 3rd season sometime this winter or next spring covering the whole A-tan business; that’s a fun series because it’s a bunch of crazy shit that everyone knows is crazy and say mean spirited things about the craziness as it’s happening to them. It seems Gintama‘s latest manga arc has it out to be a battle series again where all the random people from all the random misadventures meet up and an all out war for control of the town takes place.

I could talk about how the fan subbing is going now, or I could just continue on with my half-assed attempts of keeping the blog section less dead and stale. So, fansubbing, I’m the timer/editor, I keep up to current meaning I’ve already timed ep 31 of Fairy Tail even though we’ve only released up to ep 25, exams are a bitch for us collage students and especially so for our translator who has been having them for a month now and plans on attempting an insane stunt of clearing up all the back up from June 4 – 9, meaning he’ll have to go through at least one episode a day to get up to current since he’s going on a vacation to Japan on the 10th through most of the summer. And even if he does manage to sift through the bulk of the backed up scripts, we still have to process them meaning the typesetting and quality checking will delay them like it’s delaying ep 26 to hell. I’m still arguing with may over just 2 lines in ep 26, arguing over literal vs intended meaning and how best to interpret sogeki when Jose yells it right before impaling Gray and Elfman with some purple ghost magic things. DAMMIT ALL, I JUST WANT TO HAVE A MASSIVE PILLOW WAR ALREADY!

Boba Fett
So recently that 3D Star Wars the Clone War tv series has been garnering some interest from yours truly. Now they’re doing an episode on young Boba Fett which got me thinking: “it’s annoying how I know how everything will work out in the end.” Seeing a young Boba Fett reminded me of him being eaten by that sarlacc that ate him in Episode VI. Some people who actually find Star Wars expanded universe know that he escaped later, bu do any of you actually know what a sarlacc does to the living things it eats? Well, based on whatever data provided, the reason why it take 1000 years to digest it’s victims is because it keeps them alive so it can digest them again and again and again.

It does this by stabbing them with veins that provide the victims with nutrients, they also forcibly fuse the victim’s psyche into a nightmarish net work of subconsciousness which they can use to communicate with each other the longer they have been merged into the stomach walls. The more sentient beings the sarlacc eats, the smarter it gets because the more intelligent minds become fused with it’s own. It doesn’t just digest it’s victims, that’d be too simple, instead it torments them with psychedelic hallucinations of their worst memories and experiences while they “discover a new definition of pain and suffering.” Boba Fett just had a higher tolerance for this kind of torture and managed to free himself, most things can’t escape because their minds get entangled in that network of minds that allows the sarlacc to predict how they will try to escape and prevent it.

Oh yes, of course, the one thing people actually think of our group about (if they even think of us at all) are specials and such, not Fairy Tail at all. Well the FMA OVA 3 Tales of the Master has been out since 4/21/2010, there are still no raws two days later, you shouldn’t expect raws of a DVD to be out until weeks after it’s released and then at least another week to get it subbed and stuff.

Thus my monthly rant is left uninspired and over all dull in my mind. I would’ve posted more images, but may gets really anal about nudity on this part of the site. They annoy me… seriously… people always having cellphones ringing… These days people have put up more confusing maze like walls around themselves, you can’t really tell where anyone is anymore and so people don’t talk to each other openly and freely unless they can choose to keep their identity to themselves or just not talk to a person face-to-face. There is a term for this, something like chronic shyness or “touch withdraw,” where a person gets so little physical interaction with other people on a daily basis that they start to experience physical pain! Just touching yourself won’t suffice after awhile you know… or else maybe… it can backfire.

Why K-F (or FUNimation box sets) One Piece episodes are worth waiting for + other things

While lurking the internet, as we all so often do for whatever reasons, I found out about this:

This edit was probably due to a spree of knife stabbing murders earlier the month the episode was originally aired, so same sort of situation that caused the last episodes of Higurashi Kai and School Days to be delayed.

If my image died or you just want to continue reading my rant/post/comments, then you should know by now where to click.

So, episode 359 got edited, I remember being vastly disappointed when I fist saw that episode… good thing I’ve already decided to rearchive. But I still have to wonder if the Japanese DVD version will have the same edits or if it will be left untouched? I suppose once FUNimation has this episode on their site (years from now) I could go check and see if it is uncut (if I remember years form now).

Now onto newer business that most people reading this probably won’t even care about.

As far as fansubbing goes, Fairy Tail is taking a back seat for the time being so we can work on projects that we can actually work on (with the main translator still on holiday, there is nothing we can do).

So now we’re working on the second FMA Brotherhood OVA: Simple People, in joint (or at least with SIGNIFICANT aid from BUTAZARU, a Polish subbing group), so expect that (in shitty quality) as soon as we get a few lines in the script TL checked (then wait around until a non-shit raw surfaces so we can release a v2 of it since may absolutely insists on releasing it first like a dog let loose in a park filled with fresh never-been-peed-on-before trees).

Quality checking is important you know.

As for MOT, we’re making more progress subbing Mizugi Kanojo (I don’t care if Erobeat already released a decent version, I’ve been working on this since November already) than we are with Kibun Kibun (our TL for Kibun says he was forced to spend his break sharing his bedroom with his aunt and cousin…. how that works out at his age is beyond me, but I’ve been put through weirder things in my family so who am I to say anything).

But personally I sense an ego trip oncoming for (or already in progress) going on around here. Staying humble is pointless with anonymity, but we’re not really like that, are we?

What else was I going to say…? Oh yeah, it snowed last night in Florida, not relevant in the least, but my productivity drops with the temperature since typing makes my fingers cold and their are limited ways of warming them up…
